Senior Officer, Payment Investigation (Emiratised Role)

Responsibilities

• Reconcile Nostro, Inter-Branch, GL, card, ATM and CDM accounts
• Verify ledger entries against bank statements and branch ledgers
• Investigate outstanding items, payment discrepancies and non-receipt of funds
• Follow up with branches, departments and correspondent banks until resolved
• Escalate payment exceptions per BAU timelines and escalation matrices
• Prepare SWIFT messages for correspondent bank follow-up
• Prepare daily MIS reports, dashboards and exception reports
• Support monthly settlement of deal-rounding differences

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3-5 years of banking-sector experience, at least 3 in account reconciliation
• Experience with Cards, Nostro and internal account reconciliation
• Knowledge of IntelliMatch or similar reconciliation systems
• Knowledge of SWIFT MT940 and MT950 messages
• Strong analytical, investigative and attention-to-detail skills
