Job Description

Description BlackStone eIT, a leading computer software company, is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Senior Out Systems Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions using OutSystems, a low-code application development platform. As a Senior Out Systems Engineer, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop applications, and ensure high-quality software delivery. You will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, optimizing development processes, and contributing to the architectural design of applications. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a solid background in OutSystems development and a passion for building efficient and scalable applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using the OutSystems platform according to business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OutSystems applications.
  • Enhance the performance and scalability of existing applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
  • Mentor junior team members and help develop their skills in OutSystems development.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in OutSystems and related technologies.

Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in software development in specific OutSystems development.
  • Strong understanding of the OutSystems platform, including architecture, best practices, and development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in web and mobile application development using OutSystems.
  • Experience in integrating OutSystems applications with third-party systems and APIs.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with SQL and database management is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in OutSystems development are an advantage.
