About the role
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential partners aligned with strategic goals
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities
- Strategize and build long-term relationships to establish a Channel Sales motion
- Prospect and enter into new partnerships to provide new sales opportunities
- Serve as the main point of contact for partners to ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate with sales teams on referral deals and manage the conversion process
- Work with sales leadership to forecast revenue and develop strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop partnership plans
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Mentor junior executives in channel sales
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience selling API-driven solutions is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and strategic prospecting skills
- Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot
- Demonstrated success engaging and closing net new customers
- Ability to connect with C-level executives in the e-commerce space
- Successful track record of meeting and surpassing quotas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
