Senior Payroll Accountant

Responsibilities

• Calculate payroll and personnel-related expenses for assigned entities
• Coordinate payroll activities across multiple jurisdictions and legal entities
• Perform payroll reconciliations and support month-end closing
• Manage external payroll providers, accounting firms, EORs and service providers
• Review payroll calculations prepared by outsourced teams
• Ensure payroll data is complete, accurate and delivered on time
• Improve payroll processes, controls and workflows
• Support payroll audits with documentation and schedules

Requirements

• 6+ years of accounting experience with payroll exposure
• Understanding of payroll accounting, accruals and controls
• Experience with external payroll providers and EORs
• General knowledge of payroll tax and compliance
• Familiarity with UAE and UK payroll is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with payroll software, EOR platforms and ERP systems
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with UAE and UK payroll requirements
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite
