Senior Product Manager, Payments

Responsibilities

• Own product direction and execution for a key part of the payments product area
• Improve merchant and shopper experiences across onboarding, checkout, refunds, and payouts
• Reduce failures, friction, and support volume to improve merchant trust
• Use data and merchant feedback to define success measures and make tradeoffs
• Work with payments partners like Stripe and PayPal to improve integrations and manage dependencies
• Maintain stakeholder alignment through clear written communication

Requirements

• 7+ years in product roles with senior IC experience
• 4+ years in payments or fintech, ideally at scale
• Strong product judgment and ability to navigate messy situations
• Experience working on high-trust, critical systems
• Ability to work deeply with engineers and designers on technical constraints
• Strong analytical habits and practical approach to metrics
• Clear written and verbal communication for distributed, async environments
• Familiarity with WooCommerce, WordPress, or open-source ecosystems is a plus
