About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage direct reports, including hiring, one-to-ones and performance reviews
- Own production and post-production schedules, assignments and deadlines
- Own and control the department budget, including vendors and freelance crew
- Oversee outsourced campaign producer milestones and asset handovers
- Track assets through editing, retouching, review and final delivery
- Consolidate feedback and resolve conflicting instructions
- Maintain production trackers, delivery records and file organisation processes
- Identify bottlenecks and improve workflows as the department grows
Requirements
- Substantial production experience managing a multidisciplinary team
- Experience hiring, developing and managing employee performance
- Strong resource planning, production budget and vendor management
- Understanding of video, photography, editing and asset delivery workflows
- Calm judgement, clear communication and strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a growing brand or busy content studio
- Beauty, luxury or retail experience
