Senior Project Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial performance of government contracts, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Prepare EAC and ETC forecasts with Program Managers and Business Development
• Monitor contract funding, obligations, expenditures, and burn rates
• Ensure project financial activities comply with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and contract terms
• Support DCAA, DCMA, and customer audits with financial documentation
• Review subcontractor and consultant invoices against purchase orders and contracts
• Partner with Billing to ensure accurate, timely project invoices
• Develop and maintain financial controls and project reporting processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Project Management, or related field
• 7-10+ years in project controls, project accounting, or financial management in government contracting
• Deep understanding of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government contract requirements
• Experience with FFP and T&M contract types
• Experience with government procurement, subcontract management, and ODCs
• Experience with government accounting and ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA
• CPA, CMA, PMP, or similar certification
• Experience supporting DoD contracts
• Experience with DCAA-compliant accounting systems
• Deltek Costpoint experience
