Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle and ensure product quality for customers
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases
• Translate business workflows and complex domain requirements into effective test strategies
• Lead defect management, including root cause analysis, bug triage, and release sign-off
• Validate complex business logic, calculations, and mathematical operations
• Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL, database analysis, and Excel
• Test and validate RESTful APIs to ensure data integrity and service reliability
• Design and implement automated test frameworks for web, APIs, and integration workflows
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
• Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and reduce manual effort

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Proven experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for automation development
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium
• Strong experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured
• Advanced SQL skills for backend validation and complex data reconciliation
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development and testing tools like Claude or GitHub Copilot
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Zephyr, Xray, or TestRail
