Senior QA Engineer

About the Company

HyperHug is an international game development studio specializing in the shooter genre. We are developing Oxide: Survival Island, an immersive multiplayer survival shooter for mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle testing of a mobile free-to-play project including new features, regression, and acceptance testing
• Creating, maintaining, and updating test documentation such as test cases and checklists
• Reporting and documenting found issues and preparing test reports
• Close collaboration with the development team
• Monitoring build stability and overall product quality

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mobile game testing (Android and/or iOS)
• Understanding of sandbox/survival game mechanics (open world, crafting, PvP/PvE)
• Knowledge of client-server architecture and online gameplay testing
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, Firebase, AppMetrica, or GameAnalytics
• Proficiency with Android Studio, adb, logcat, Xcode, and Unity
• Familiarity with network traffic analysis tools (Charles, Fiddler, Wireshark) and Git
• Knowledge of C# or Python
• Experience in test automation for Unity-based mobile games
• English (B1+) and Russian (C1) proficiency
• Experience working with AI tools like Claude or Gemini

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for hardcore survival games like RUST, ARK, or DayZ
• Experience with Firebase integrations
• Experience working with JSON files
