Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end with technical excellence and accountability
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript
• Collaborate with developers to ensure balanced test coverage within the testing pyramid
• Evolve the overall testing strategy and improve QA processes and metrics
• Perform manual and exploratory testing and document defects
• Mentor and support teammates to foster high-quality automation practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 7+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
• 3+ years of experience in test automation using Playwright
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and building scalable automation frameworks
• Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
• Experience defining and driving test automation standards
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing and maintaining Ruby on Rails code
• Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Kibana, or Sentry
• Experience with accessibility testing and best practices
