About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process including intake meetings with hiring managers
- Draft job descriptions and provide insights on compensation and market trends
- Proactively source and recruit technical talent in engineering and environmental services nationwide
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews with detailed written summaries
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews while maintaining stakeholder communication
- Prepare and extend job offers, including necessary negotiations
- Ensure accurate tracking of candidate progress using ATS tools
- Comply with all employment laws, regulations, and company policies
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through regular follow-up
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience recruiting Water/Wastewater, Drinking Water, or Stormwater Engineers or related technical roles
- Or 8+ years of experience recruiting Transportation, Land Development, Roads, or Traffic professionals
- Proven skills in candidate sourcing, networking, and outreach
- Established network of AEC professionals
- Strong interviewing skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in software and computer systems
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership and deliver results in fast-paced environments
