Responsibilities

• Perform manual review and scoring of home sleep studies in accordance with AASM scoring guidelines and company protocols
• Review automated scoring results and apply clinical judgment to validate and correct sleep staging, respiratory events, oxygen desaturations, and arousals
• Ensure scoring accuracy while consistently meeting productivity expectations in a high-volume workflow
• Identify studies requiring physician review or clinical escalation based on established protocols
• Maintain detailed documentation and quality standards throughout the scoring process
• Participate in quality assurance reviews, calibration exercises, and ongoing scoring consistency initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members to support timely study completion
• Stay current with AASM scoring rule updates and industry best practices

Requirements

• Current RPSGT or RRT-SDS credential required
• Minimum of 5–8 years of sleep study scoring experience
• Extensive experience performing manual scoring and quality review of sleep studies
• Strong knowledge of AASM scoring guidelines and sleep medicine principles
• Proficiency with sleep scoring software and electronic health record systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scoring Home Sleep Tests (HSTs)
• WatchPAT and CloudPat experience preferred
• Previous experience performing quality assurance, scoring audits, or scoring oversight
