About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise application teams on security implications of software modifications
- Conduct security engineering analyses, vulnerability and risk assessments
- Assess effectiveness of security controls against U.S. Air Force and DoD standards
- Review application architectures and data flows to identify security deficiencies
- Support product discovery, security architecture design and control evaluation
- Share best practices across teams and lead the team's priorities
Requirements
- 3+ years DoD network engineering or management
- 3+ years cybersecurity work
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT II or IAT III certification
- One of CASP+, AWS Security, CCSP, CSSLP or equivalent
- Knowledge of Unix, DevSecOps, web application security, AWS cloud security
- Knowledge of DoD/U.S. Air Force RMF and related policies
- Eligible to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
