Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Engineering

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services
• Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric solutions
• Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows to improve developer productivity
• Guide team members and promote engineering standard methodologies
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for platform delivery
• Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies and platform functionality
• Create new features for the platform with a meaningful value proposition
• Resolve unclear but urgent tasks

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in software engineering with expertise in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps
• Proven technical leadership experience
• Expertise in ArgoCD, Grafana, K8s, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, or Cloud Cost Optimization
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go
• Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies (GCP preferred; AWS also acceptable)
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems architecture and design
• Knowledge of cloud security and governance principles
• Experience designing agentic workflows
• Database expertise
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms
