Senior Software Engineer - Data

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of data across Market Research, Market Surveys, and Daylight Revenue
• Design and evolve ingestion pipelines for 10M+ multifamily units using XML/JSON, web scraping, and APIs
• Build observability into systems including daily monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated alerts

Requirements

• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience
• Strong experience in Ruby on Rails and Python
• Deep expertise in AWS infrastructure (RDS, ECS, S3, Lambda, OpenSearch)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with batch-style data workflows using dbt or Airflow
• Experience with large-scale data collection including web scraping and proxy management
• Experience in fast-paced, growth-stage environments
