About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new features in critical financial systems
- Monitor performance and deployment of system changes
- Document changes made to systems
- Build and maintain production systems with strong non-functional requirements
Requirements
- Develop software in Go
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Implement automated tests
- Review code and documentation, suggest improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Public and private cloud experience (OpenStack, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Messaging systems knowledge (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, Kafka, IBM MQ)
- Event Sourcing, CQRS, Hexagonal or Lambda Architecture knowledge
- Relational and non-relational data modeling experience
- CI/CD tooling knowledge (GitHub Actions)
- Elixir knowledge
