Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain innovative software applications and services supporting the Jury Consulting business
• Partner with consultants, stakeholders, and product managers to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions
• Communicate technical concepts, architectural decisions, and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences
• Build and maintain applications, APIs, and services using the most appropriate technologies for each problem
• Develop responsive, intuitive user experiences using modern front-end frameworks
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to improve efficiency
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production applications for reliability and performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade applications
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go)
• Experience designing and deploying modern web applications and APIs
• Experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience working in Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in .NET/C#, Node.js, React, or TypeScript
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with AI/LLM integrations or intelligent automation
• Background in legal technology, healthcare, or financial services
