About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Node sub-team's technical direction and architecture decisions
- Set code quality standards for the backend team
- Design, develop, and deliver Node.js and TypeScript services
- Build Next.js API routes and the underlying data layer
- Partner with frontend and mobile teams on API contracts
Requirements
- Senior backend engineering experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Systems-level thinking on performance, security, and scalability
- Awareness of healthcare regulatory compliance
