Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy software in a continuous manner
• Partner with PMs and Product Designers on product and design reviews
• Create technical specs and testing/rollout plans
• Write clear technical designs and contribute to code reviews
• Mentor and sponsor teammates to help them grow
• Investigate production issues and improve system reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Experience with Python or Vue (or other Javascript frameworks) in production
• Strong coding fundamentals and ability to write maintainable code
• Good product and systems judgment in ambiguous problem spaces
• Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
• Experience working effectively on a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vue in production
• Background in accounting systems, double-entry bookkeeping, or revenue recognition
• Familiarity with agentic or AI-assisted systems in production
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and payment processors
