Senior Software Engineer, Quality Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated test frameworks across REST and gRPC API surfaces
• Leverage AI and LLM-based tooling to accelerate test generation and harden regression coverage
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Build
• Design and execute load, stress, and scalability tests
• Introduce chaos engineering practices through fault-injection and resilience experiments
• Standardize tooling and infrastructure to improve developer experience
• Partner with teams to raise test coverage, reliability, and speed
• Root-cause failures in application code and drive fixes to completion
• Mentor product engineers to foster a culture of quality

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building production systems
• 1+ years of experience with Go
• Proficiency in strongly typed languages
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering and LLM-based tools
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI pipelines
• Experience designing automated test frameworks for microservices
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm charts
• Previous experience working in a startup environment
• Ability to own tasks from requirement gathering to deployment and monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using AI/LLM tooling for QA automation
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript
• Experience building Dockerfiles and secure container images
• Experience with load testing tools like k6 and ghz
• Experience with IaC tools such as Argo CD or Terraform
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and GKE
• Knowledge of chaos engineering tools like Chaos Mesh or Gremlin
• Experience testing event-driven systems using Kafka or Redpanda
