About the role
Responsibilities
- Build supervised trading agents for pre-hedging analysis, hedge execution and post-hedging review
- Design automated monitoring of trends, volatility and liquidity with clear alerts and escalation
- Analyse spreads, slippage and liquidity provider performance and recommend adjustments
- Investigate flagged trading patterns and feed outcomes into fraud detection logic
- Run structured backtests of hedging strategies using realistic execution conditions
- Maintain SOPs covering approval boundaries, exposure limits and escalation
- Evaluate liquidity providers and platform setups such as MT5, cTrader and TradingView
- Automate accurate reporting for trading, risk and commercial teams
- Lead complex investigations and mentor colleagues
Requirements
- At least 5 years in trading analysis or financial markets in a regulated entity
- Degree in mathematics, finance, economics or a related field
- SQL and data analysis on large trading datasets
- Backtesting that informs real decisions
- Clear communication of trading topics to non-specialists
- Daily use of AI tools with output checking
