Senior Trading Risk Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve risk and surveillance strategies for spot, perpetual, futures and options trading
• Investigate coordinated or suspicious trading activity using order-flow and account-linkage analysis
• Define behavioural patterns for new manipulation methods in thinly traded and leveraged instruments
• Assess risk impact including market disruption, financial exposure and concentration
• Partner with Product and Compliance to design and implement monitoring rules and controls
• Collaborate with data scientists to translate trading-risk concepts into detection logic and models

Requirements

• Practical derivatives trading or risk management experience
• Understanding of leverage, margin, liquidation and auto-deleveraging mechanisms
• Experience in market surveillance or preventing market-abuse activity
• Advanced SQL skills and strong analytical ability
• Ability to create and validate detection approaches using order-level and trade-level data

Preferred Qualifications

• Market surveillance or trading risk background at a digital-asset exchange or trading venue
• Active derivatives trading experience
• Python experience
• Blockchain analytics and on-chain transaction tracing knowledge
• Graph analysis or entity-resolution experience
