Server Side Swift Developer - Level Shoes

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services in Swift using Vapor
• Own services end to end, including code review, deployment and production health
• Build RESTful APIs for accounts, catalogue, cart, checkout, payments and orders
• Integrate commerce, order management, search, CMS and payment/BNPL gateways with safe degradation
• Build concurrency-safe, idempotent processing across service replicas
• Model data and optimise queries in MongoDB; implement caching in Redis
• Implement Elasticsearch-backed search and listing
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows on Kubernetes

Requirements

• 6+ years professional development, 3+ years server-side Swift (Vapor)
• Strong Swift concurrency, protocol-oriented design and Codable
• Proven handling of concurrency, race conditions and idempotency
• RESTful API design, authentication and token lifecycle
• MongoDB in production; Redis for caching and sessions
• Elasticsearch for search and listing
• Payment gateway and webhook-driven integrations
• Kubernetes operation and log and metrics analysis
• Git, CI/CD and automated testing

Preferred Qualifications

• E-commerce, payments or financially consequential domains
• Magento or order management system integration
• Multi-tenant or multi-region systems
• Localisation including right-to-left languages
• AWS or another cloud platform
• New Relic or similar monitoring tools
• Feature-flagging and progressive rollout platforms
• Jenkins and Gerrit
