About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive customers, discuss service and repair needs, and record job requirements on the job card
- Explain job contents, value and cost, then give clear work instructions to technicians
- Organize quality inspections and deliver vehicles to customer satisfaction
- Follow up on work in progress, back-order parts and long-pending vehicles
- Build customer relationships and up-sell accessories and service packages
- Collect repair charges and keep customers informed on progress
Requirements
- Vocational qualification in automotive trade, or diploma in automobile engineering or graduate
- 2 to 5 years experience in the automotive trade
