Service Representative - Property & Casualty

Responsibilities

• Develop strong knowledge of Horace Mann Property and Casualty insurance products, services and policies
• Handle and problem solve customers' inquiries via phone, email, and chats
• Ensure a great customer experience in both written and verbal communications
• Maintain quality and compliance by adhering to all applicable company and state rules and regulations
• Perform proactive up-sell and cross-sell of insurance solutions to existing customer base

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 2+ years of customer service, business, or sales experience preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain Insurance Producers License within 12 months of hire
• Basic math and billing interpretation skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Internet speed of at least 10 mb/s download and 1 mb/s upload
• Private, organized workspace free from household distractions
