Job description

Responsibilities

  • Represent Canonical and its solutions to semiconductor partners
  • Develop deep understanding of partner strategies, technologies, and roadmaps
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams
  • Create, track, and execute robust project plans for joint initiatives
  • Develop joint go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and launch plans
  • Negotiate successful contracts with silicon partners

Requirements

  • B.A/B.S/B.E degree in science, technology, or engineering
  • Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem
  • Experience in software and system architecture preferred
  • Customer-facing experience in business development or technology strategy
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Disciplined and self-motivated for a remote-first workplace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with open source software and open source business models
  • Team leadership or program management experience
