Job description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with partner teams to align on open-source strategies and joint roadmaps
  • Capture partner requirements, evaluate gaps, and identify Canonical opportunities
  • Coordinate messaging, content creation, and launch plans with marketing and product
  • Create reference architectures, joint blueprints, webinars, presentations, and white papers
  • Drive Ubuntu adoption in targeted alliance accounts and deliver enablement training
  • Influence partners to build with Canonical technology
  • Travel up to 25% internationally for conferences and in-person partnership meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, or engineering
  • Experience in software development and system architecture
  • Customer-facing experience in software engineering, product management, business development, or technology strategy
  • Excellent communication skills across all stakeholder levels
  • Ability to synthesize complex material and operate at strategic and tactical levels
  • Disciplined and self-motivated for remote-first work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with open source software and business models
  • Team leadership, product management, or program management experience
  • Understanding of marketing and go-to-market strategy
  • Sector experience in finance, telecommunications, automotive, or public sectors
  • Post-graduate degree in science, technology, or engineering
