Software Engineer - Back-End Developer Junior

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain well-structured and documented REST APIs
• Participate in the implementation of event-based processes using queues or Pub/Sub
• Model and query SQL and NoSQL databases according to project needs
• Apply security best practices in development (tokens, credential management, etc.)
• Contribute to the stability and proper functioning of production services
• Write basic tests, document code, and collaborate on pull request reviews
• Support system monitoring through logs, metrics, and traces

Requirements

• 2 years of experience developing in Java 11+
• Practical experience with Spring Boot (REST controllers, services, dependency injection, Spring Data)
• Management of SQL databases (queries, basic joins, use of JPA / Hibernate)
• General knowledge or initial use of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Firestore, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or willingness to learn, ideally Pub/Sub
• Proficiency with Git for collaborative work
• Basic knowledge of Docker or interest in learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with cloud-native development environments
