Responsibilities

• Ship major features end to end across JavaScript and Clojure codebase
• Deal with complex backend issues as they arise
• Maintain strong product sensibilities and focus on end user experience

Requirements

• Experience in Clojure or a strong desire to learn
• Track record of shipping products of significant complexity
• Solid Computer Science background
• Ability to make and articulate technical judgements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JDBC and database integrations
• Knowledge of the Java ecosystem and JVM tuning
• History of open source contributions
• Experience in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Familiarity with machine learning, compiler theory, or big data infrastructures
