Software Engineer - Branching

Responsibilities

• Design and improve the core orchestration engine for Supabase Branches
• Provision ephemeral sandboxed execution environments on EKS / ECS
• Implement job scheduling for thousands of concurrent builds
• Optimize pipeline runtimes with caching and artifact storage
• Manage retry, timeout, and failure-propagation logic
• Instrument the pipeline lifecycle with observability tooling
• Develop configuration files and integrations using Terraform or Pulumi

Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills in Go and TypeScript
• 3+ years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure or distributed systems at scale
• Familiarity with AWS constructs and SDKs
• Experience with IaC tools like Pulumi or Terraform
• Production operations mindset with a focus on reliability and observability
• Ability to work independently in an async, globally distributed team
