About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and improve the core orchestration engine for Supabase Branches
- Provision ephemeral sandboxed execution environments on EKS / ECS
- Implement job scheduling for thousands of concurrent builds
- Optimize pipeline runtimes with caching and artifact storage
- Manage retry, timeout, and failure-propagation logic
- Instrument the pipeline lifecycle with observability tooling
- Develop configuration files and integrations using Terraform or Pulumi
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills in Go and TypeScript
- 3+ years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure or distributed systems at scale
- Familiarity with AWS constructs and SDKs
- Experience with IaC tools like Pulumi or Terraform
- Production operations mindset with a focus on reliability and observability
- Ability to work independently in an async, globally distributed team
