Responsibilities

• Craft delightful user experiences with strong product sensibilities
• Write fast, performant code and handle data structure manipulation
• Adapt existing code and integrate new code into large, complex JavaScript projects
• Write tests, provide feedback on code, and write clear technical proposals
• Use and update CSS and design systems to ensure high-quality visual output
• Work on features like lightning-fast data interaction, augmented visualizations, and embedded analytics

Requirements

• Prior experience shipping non-trivial apps using React and Redux
• Strong JavaScript and React knowledge
• Proficiency in CSS and familiarity with design systems or component libraries
• Experience with testing and code reviews
• Ability to work effectively in an asynchronous, remote-first environment
• Strong communication and clarity in written documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data visualization libraries like d3.js or dc.js
• Previous contributions to open source projects
• Interest in or knowledge of Clojure
