About the Company

Glydways is reimagining public transit through a groundbreaking network of carbon-neutral, interconnected transit pathways powered by standardized autonomous vehicles. Our mission is to deliver high capacity, exceptional user experiences, and minimal environmental impact.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and launch tooling to keep SIL-4 code classified, reviewed, and provably signed off
  • Develop lightweight web-based applications and reports to demonstrate safety posture to engineers and auditors
  • Maintain and improve the Bazel build system for speed and reliability
  • Enhance developer workflows including build, lint, code coverage, and testing for C++, Python, and Go
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI systems using AWS and Buildkite
  • Develop and support automation tools for change submission, integration testing, and dependency management
  • Design and implement monitoring services to track internal process performance
  • Participate in team support and on-call rotations

Requirements

  • Experience building software in a regulated or safety-critical domain (e.g., EN 50128, EN 50716, IEC 61508, or ISO 26262)
  • Understanding of certification evidence requirements including traceability and tool qualification
  • Experience integrating static analysis or coding-standard enforcement (MISRA, Parasoft, Coverity, clang-tidy) into CI
  • Strong knowledge of build systems and SDLC tools like git, GitHub, and testing frameworks
  • Proficiency in Python or Go
  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for internal tools
  • Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and Buildkite is a plus
  • Direct Bazel experience is a significant plus
