Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Development of Django-based websites using Python and PostgreSQL
• Build frontend data visualization components to explore complex healthcare pricing data
• Write effective, scalable code
• Test and debug programs
• Improve functionality of existing systems
• Assess and prioritize feature requests
• Coordinate with team members to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in Python or strong experience in another language with Python exposure
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Vue.js
• Expertise in Django or a similar web framework (e.g., Ruby on Rails)
• Good understanding of SQL and database efficiency
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on open-source projects
• Experience using Git and GitHub
• Strong writing skills
