About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SDKs, apps, and libraries used by applications running on Android POS devices
- Contribute to platform architecture implementation, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
- Support improvements in CI/CD processes, automated testing, and platform monitoring
- Collaborate technically with the team and support developers consuming the platform
- Write high-quality code and participate in code reviews following SOLID and Clean Architecture principles
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in native Android development using Kotlin or Java
- Experience with consumption and maintenance of SDKs, libraries, or platform modules
- Knowledge of software architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and design principles (SOLID)
- Familiarity with dependency management (Gradle) and project modularization
- Knowledge of Android Services in background (WorkManager, ForegroundService, BroadcastReceiver, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD processes
- Practical knowledge in unit testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform)
- Knowledge of network connectivity and protocols (OkHttpClient, UrlConnection, Ktor)
- Experience with Coroutines/Flows and Jetpack Compose
- Previous experience in POS terminal development or embedded systems
- Knowledge of AI and Prompt Engineering
- Experience with observability/analytics tools (Grafana, GCP, Looker Studio)
- Knowledge of Android security and cryptography
- Familiarity with AOSP or firmware customization
