Software Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Build robust test infrastructure for automated regression testing of data science microservices
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues across multiple environments
• Improve performance, reliability, and stability of automated test suites
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and high-impact test cases
• Review product requirements for alignment with design and quality guidelines
• Partner with engineers for end-to-end system testing and post-deployment validation
• Identify, isolate, and document product defects and verify fixes
• Champion quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in developer, SDET, or QA automation roles
• 3+ years coding experience in Python preferred
• Experience testing APIs and databases
• Experience with testing frameworks, preferably Pytest
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana or NewRelic
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI or GitHub Actions
• Ability to write and analyze SQL queries
• Experience with AWS cloud solutions
• Proficiency with GitHub, JIRA, and Postman
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and automated testing approaches

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with performance testing and related tools
• Familiarity with Data Science concepts
• Experience testing ML models
• Experience with Kafka, Groundcover, Sentry, or MLFlow
