Responsibilities

• Build a next-gen stack for resilient, decentralized search using a truly peer-to-peer architecture.
• Develop technology that enables self-organizing, unstoppable search engines for various data types without centralized indices.
• Write high-performance, highly concurrent networking code.
• Test, evaluate, and optimize network protocols.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Kademlia DHT or distributed indexing (skip graphs, prefix hash trees, etc.).
• Experience with distributed databases and CRDTs.
• Knowledge of P2P networking including TCP/IP, NAT traversal, and encryption.
• Familiarity with classical Information Retrieval (IR) topics like ranking algorithms and inverted indices.
• Proficiency in writing high-performance, highly concurrent networking code.
• Experience with the Holepunch stack (hyperdht, hyperswarm, hypercore, etc.) is a plus.
