SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER I

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams (Backend, Mobile/Web), conducting 1-on-1s, development plans (PDI), and performance reviews
• Translate company strategic plans into technical direction aligned with business goals
• Ensure end-to-end delivery of solutions from app experience to backend services in partnership with PMs and Designers
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business areas to ensure transparency and alignment
• Promote a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, and constant feedback

Requirements

• Previous experience in leadership or management of technology teams
• Technical background capable of guiding architecture discussions for Mobile (Kotlin/Android/iOS), Web (React/Next.js), and Backend (.NET, APIs, Microservices, Event-Sourcing)
• Experience working with scalable, integrated, and high-availability systems
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and emotional intelligence for conflict management and career development
