About the Company

Whippy is leading the way in AI-powered business communication, transforming how companies engage with customers using intelligent AI Agents. From customer support to marketing to sales, businesses rely on Whippy’s Voice AI and Chat AI to eliminate manual workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Spend at least one-third of time coding and building new products
  • Work with the CTO to manage and scale the engineering team and best practices
  • Conduct regular 1-1s and unblock engineers
  • Manage hiring pipelines and conduct technical interviews
  • Conduct code reviews and aid engineers in releasing features quickly and reliably

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as an engineering manager at a startup
  • Experience working in a remote engineering team environment
  • Fluency in written English
  • Ability to attend team meetings on Mondays and Fridays at 2:30 pm GMT
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for asynchronous work
