About the role
Responsibilities
- Design independent web test cases for each newly developed web application
- Provide feedback to developers on automated testing strategies, design fixes and patches
- Perform system load tests for new products
- Manage and train apprentices, junior testers and new developers
- Document quality processes for replication in other locations
- Manage testing projects across each phase of the SDLC
- Improve functionality, design and usability of new products
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a software tester
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, mobile, performance and security testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- TMap, ISEB or ISTQB certification
