Sous Chef - Contemporary Chinese Dining

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and consistency
• Monitor resource consumption and optimize use of ingredients and inventory
• Develop weekly set menus and seasonal offerings in collaboration with the Executive Chef
• Lead, coach, and support the kitchen team to maintain high performance
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with HACCP and health regulations
• Ensure high-quality cuisine delivery and address guest feedback

Requirements

• Secondary school diploma or culinary qualification preferred
• Strong knowledge of Southeast Asian cuisine and cost control
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a 5-star kitchen environment
• High attention to detail regarding food quality and presentation
• Basic computer literacy
• Flexibility to work shifts
• Must be at least 18 years of age
