About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Monitor resource consumption and optimize use of equipment and ingredients
- Develop weekly set menus and seasonal offerings in collaboration with the Executive Chef
- Ensure dishes meet established recipes and presentation guidelines
- Lead, coach, and support the kitchen team
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with HACCP and safety regulations
- Address guest requests and feedback to enhance dining experience
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or culinary qualification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Southeast Asian cuisine and cost control
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail regarding food quality and safety
- Basic computer literacy
- Minimum of 8 years experience in a 5-star kitchen environment
- Flexibility to work shifts
- Must be at least 18 years of age
