Specialist, Assets Services Services (Emiratized)

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end corporate actions processing for domestic, regional, and international markets
• Monitor and process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions for equities, mutual funds, fixed income, and other products
• Handle complex corporate action events including data scrubbing, comparison, and client notification
• Reconcile client positions with sub-custodians and markets
• Communicate with stakeholders including markets, agents, and brokers to ensure accurate processing
• Support tax reclaims, proxy services, and income management
• Validate cash/FX settlements and escalate mismatches to AVP
• Perform second-level reconciliation and SWIFT instruction validation
• Monitor KPIs, KRIs, and capacity planning to ensure compliance and risk control

Requirements

• University degree or 5 years of related work experience
• 5+ years of experience in security services or back-office operations (e.g., corporate actions, securities settlements)
• Solid understanding of security services, operations, and related accounting activities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Strong execution and follow-up skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in client services, settlement, or custody account opening is an advantage
