Specialist, Audit - Operations & Support Functions

Responsibilities

• Participate in audits covering the activities and processes of Operations & Support Functions across the FAB Group
• Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with the Annual Plan and completed efficiently
• Assist in monitoring financial performance of activities versus budgets
• Execute tasks according to GIA Policies, Guidance Notes, and Procedures
• Review activities within the Operations & Support Functions portfolio to maintain the Audit Universe
• Assist supervisors in preparing Risk Assessments for process streams
• Conduct audits to assess risk classification, governance, and internal control effectiveness
• Draft audit worksheets and issues
• Negotiate Management Action Plans with Unit management to resolve identified issues
• Assist in investigations and special reviews as assigned
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of control processes and regulatory reporting developments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience with an International Bank or Big 4
• Internal Audit experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of Operations & Support Functions processes and associated risks
• Knowledge of bank/audit policies and Central Bank regulations
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant post-graduate qualification
• Relevant professional certification
