About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure monthly VAT data collection, review, and consolidation
- Prepare FAB Group VAT returns and supporting documentation
- Perform monthly transactional review and reconciliation for AOV submissions
- Support the tax team in identifying and implementing system enhancements
- Ensure tax payments are made to authorities and reconciled per group policies
- Assist in collecting indirect tax data from international branches and subsidiaries
- Support tax manager in arranging audit data and closing out audit points
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax technical developments
Requirements
- Relevant academic qualification in Accounting or Tax
- Professional Tax qualification
- 3+ years of experience in the banking industry
- 2+ years of experience in Indirect Tax (VAT/GST) compliance
- Experience with indirect tax processes and tax accounting technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
