Specialist Technology Regulations & Business Management (UAE National Role)

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement local and international regulatory security standards where Emirates NBD operates
• Maintain a Group-wide regulatory register mapped to policies, controls and control owners
• Coordinate regulatory inspections, self-assessments and attestations, and track remediation to closure
• Run AI regulatory assessments covering security, privacy, data quality, bias and third-party risk
• Track the IT Risk register and highlight business impact on senior stakeholders
• Conduct security awareness sessions across the group

Requirements

• 3-5 years in information security, at least 3 in the financial industry
• Master's degree in Business Management or equivalent
• Knowledge of CBUAE, UAE IA Regulation and UAE PDPL
• Experience implementing regulatory controls and translating business requirements into security requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001, CIPP/E, CIPM or CDPSE
• Executive education training
