About the role
Responsibilities
- Hire, mentor and grow the pre-sales team for the UAE market
- Build a motivated collaborative culture within a hyper-growth team
- Support increased return on investment of SA involvement in sales cycles
- Ensure a solution and value-based selling within the field-engineering organization
- Engage with key customer executives to build and strengthen strategic partnerships
- Display an understanding of needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region
- Align with partners and internal services to secure implementation strategies
- Build Databricks' brand as a member of the Leadership team
Requirements
- Experience managing a team of successful Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals
- Experience in consumption based business environments
- Experience mentoring and scaling technical teams
- Technical or consulting background in Data Engineering, Database technologies or Data Science
- Strong communication skills
- Experience dealing with clients in UAE
- Fluency in Arabic and English
