Sr. Mobile Engineer - Upcoming Apps Portfolio (Android & iOS)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of user-facing features across web and mobile experiences
• Collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams to bring new capabilities to market
• Use modern AI coding and agentic tools as a force multiplier in everyday engineering work
• Take ownership of features end-to-end, from concept to production
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Advocate for unit/integration testing and automated testing

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional mobile engineering experience in an agile environment delivering native applications to both Android and iOS
• Hands-on production experience with Android: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Dagger/Hilt, Retrofit, Room
• Hands-on production experience with iOS: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency, Combine, Core Data
• Proficiency with GitHub and version control workflows
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play and the Apple App Store
• Demonstrated day-to-day use of AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to write and review code
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex systems
• Experience building large-scale systems with technical leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks like Kotlin Multiplatform, Flutter, or React Native
• Experience integrating LLM/AI features into mobile apps
• Experience with mobile analytics and experimentation (Mixpanel, Firebase, A/B testing)
• Experience with mobile ads and monetization SDKs
