About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop Level 2 Software Design Specifications (SDS) and build firm software scope estimates
- Partner with Solutions Software teams to ensure scope sold matches scope delivered
- Lead detailed design workshops and conduct onsite discovery at customer facilities
- Author 3rd-party integration specifications for robotics, sortation, and carrier systems
- Define WMS/ERP integration specifications, including messaging and data mapping
- Manage project backlogs and participate in Scrum ceremonies
- Define IT, network, and infrastructure requirements for software deployment
- Travel to customer sites (up to 50%) for design reviews and commissioning support
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development, systems analysis, or technical project delivery for industrial software (WES/WCS, WMS)
- Technical bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with REST/APIs, messaging, and EDI integrations
- Proficiency with Agile/Scrum environments and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
- Experience with diagramming tools such as Visio, Draw.io, or Lucidchart
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks in fast-paced environments

What we look for
- 8+ years experience in software development or systems analysis for WES/WCS/WMS
- Technical bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience writing design specifications and functional requirements
- Knowledge of material handling automation and WMS/ERP integration
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum, Jira, or Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in MS Office and diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
- Ability to travel up to 50%
