About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Node sub-team's technical direction, architecture decisions, and code quality standards
- Design, develop, and deliver backend platform services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build Next.js API routes and the underlying data layer
- Ensure system performance, security, scalability, and healthcare regulatory compliance
- Partner with frontend and mobile teams to define and implement API contracts
Requirements
- Technical seniority in backend development
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with Next.js API routes
- Ability to apply a system-level perspective to architecture
